Ship Center USA אינו משמש IOR כברירת מחדל.To bring commercial inventory into the US you must decide in advance who will be the Importer of Record (IOR) on the customs entry — the party responsible for the accuracy of the entry, classification, value, duties and any regulatory requirements. An Israeli company may act as a non-resident importer via an importer number, a customs bond and a process arranged with a customs broker; alternatively, another party with the legal right to make entry may serve as IOR. DDP terms alone do not prove who the IOR is. After release, the goods move to the 3PL warehouse for storage, shipping and returns. Ship Center USA is not the IOR by default.

There are different entry types — the details depend on the shipment.

- יבואן לא-תושב (Foreign Importer of Record). החברה הישראלית עצמה משמשת יבואן, גם בלי ישות אמריקאית. זה לא אוטומטי: נדרש מספר יבואן שמוקצה על ידי CBP (בדרך כלל דרך Form 5106), ערבות מכס (customs bond) אמריקאית, ותהליך הקמה ואימות שמוסדר מול עמיל המכס.Non-resident / Foreign Importer of Record. The Israeli company itself acts as importer, even without a US entity. This is not automatic: it requires a CBP-assigned importer number (typically via Form 5106), a US customs bond, and a setup/verification process arranged with the customs broker.

- ISF ("10+2") — חל על מטען המגיע באונייה; רוב הנתונים מוגשים בדרך כלל לפחות 24 שעות לפני העמסת המטען על האונייה בחו״ל.ISF ("10+2") — applies to ocean cargo; most data is generally filed at least 24 hours before the cargo is laden aboard the vessel abroad.
- דרישות רשות — מוצרים מפוקחים (קוסמטיקה/מזון/אלקטרוניקה) נבדקים בכניסה; צריך קודים ותיוג נכונים.Agency requirements — regulated products (cosmetics/food/electronics) are reviewed at entry; correct codes and labeling are required.
- גם עם עמיל מכס — האחריות הסופית לנכונות ההצהרה, המכסים והציות נשארת אצל ה-IOR.Even with a customs broker — ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of the entry, the duties and compliance stays with the IOR.
מה קורה אחרי השחרורWhat happens after release
המשלוח מגיע למחסן שלנו בפלורידה, נקלט ונספר מול רשימת האריזה, ומאוחסן. מאותו רגע כל הזמנה יוצאת מקומית בארה״ב — כולל טיפול בהחזרות בכתובת אמריקאית. כך אתם לא שולחים כל הזמנה מחו״ל.The shipment arrives at our Florida warehouse, is received and counted against the packing list, and stored. From then on every order ships domestically in the US — including returns handling at a US address. So you no longer ship every order from overseas.
